Product Certification
Inspire QAS Sdn. Bhd. provides independent, third-party product certification services for construction materials and systems in accordance with MS ISO/IEC 17065.
Certification activities are conducted under ISO/IEC 17067 Type 5 certification schemes, combining product evaluation, factory production control assessment, and ongoing conformity assurance through surveillance.
To safeguard impartiality, Inspire QAS does not provide consultancy, advisory, testing consultancy, or product development services.
Certification Schemes & Technical Annexes
Our product certification activities are governed by approved Certification Schemes, supported by product-specific Technical Annexes that define applicable standards, conformity requirements, evaluation methods, and surveillance rules.
Each Technical Annex references relevant Malaysian and international standards, including but not limited to:
- Ready-Mixed Concrete - MS EN 206, CIS 21
- Pre-cast Concrete Piles for Foundation - MS 1314 Series
- Aluminium - MS 1017, MS 832, MS 2289
- Iron and Steel Product (Scaffolding) - MS 1462 Series, MS EN 1065

Certification Process Overview

Application & Contract Review
Review of the submitted application, scope, applicable standards, eligibility requirements, certification feasibility, and contractual arrangements.

Stage 1 – Document Review
Evaluation of factory production control systems, quality documentation, test reports, and other required records to assess readiness for on-site evaluation.

Stage 2 – Factory / Plant Audit (Evaluation)
On-site audit to verify implementation of production controls, conformity with certification requirements, and, where applicable, sampling and verification activities.

Technical Review
Independent technical review of evaluation outputs to confirm completeness, compliance with the certification scheme, and readiness for certification decision.

Certification Decision, Issuance & Surveillance
Issuance of the product certificate upon successful decision, followed by ongoing surveillance activities to ensure continued conformity throughout the certification cycle.
